This weekend I realised a dream by competing at the Winter Paralympic Games in the sport I love, representing my country.
Ever since I saw a poster for the Paralympics whilst lying in my hospital bed seven years ago, competing at the games has been my focus and a motivation.
Going into the games I have been skiing the best I have ever skied and I finished 20th in the Men's Standing Downhill and 25th in the Men's Standing Super G. My competitive nature means I always want to go faster and ski better, but the whole experience has been incredible and it was a proud moment to race for ParalympicssGB in South Korea knowing my family were in the stands cheering me on.
Thank you to everyone back home for your support and for those who have stayed up late to watch the races. I'm grateful to each of you for your kind words and good wishes.
